Join us at Sunrise Park in Suffield to celebrate the end of a wonderful year with the SHS Music Department. Students and their families are invited to join us for a cookout and games. SMBA will purchase hamburgers and hotdogs (and vegetarian options), cheese, buns, condiments, and charcoal. We will need donations of snacks, desserts, drinks, games and volunteers. There will be a SignUp Genius email sent out the last week of May. We hope to see you there!

There are 13 music students graduating this year! SMBA will host a pizza party starting at 6 p.m. before the concert in the SHS Media Center. All music students and families of seniors are welcome.

This year the band and choir traveled to Boston to perform at the Festival of Music in Duxbury, MA , and then got to be tourists for two days where they saw "Blue Man Group", visited the Boston Aquarium and got a Duck Boat Tour. The students had a blast!!

What a fantastic musical this year! Congratulations to the cast & crew and everyone involved with the show. With record crowds in attendance, SMBA made a little over $1,200 selling concessions.

We held our first raffle to help lower the cost for students going on the Boston music trip in April ('25). We were able to give $3,150 to help fund the trip.

November 20, 2024 - We organized dinner from Moe's Southwest Grill for over 200 students and teachers before the performance. We didn't make any money, but we were happy to host a fantastic festival.

September 7 & 8, 2024 - We had our first booth at SOTG in Suffield. We sold snacks, collected donations and made a presence in the community. We raised $717.
