Suffield Music Booster Association

Welcome

SMBA (Suffield Music Booster Association Inc.) is a nonprofit 501c3 organization with the mission to support the enrichment of music education at Suffield High School, primarily through fundraising and volunteer work. We are working to help create a top music experience for our students by funding enrichment activities and building a strong, tight-knit music community.

Fundraising

We raise funds by selling concessions at SHS theater performances, concerts, open mic nights and organize restaurant fundraisers and raffles.

Enrichment

We provide funds to help pay for trips and activities, like the 2024 Disney Trip as shown above.

Building Community

We organize activities where music students can gather together and strengthen relationships, like the end of year picnic and Suffield on the Green.

Meetings

We meet the second Wednesday of every month (except for July & August) at the Suffield Public Library (Marble Table) at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

Best Community for Music Education

We're thrilled to announce that Suffield Public Schools has been named a NAMM Best Community for Music Education for the third year in a row! This national recognition honors school districts that demonstrate exceptional commitment to music education. Suffield is one of only 35 districts in Connecticut and just 935 across the country to receive this distinction. Thank you for your ongoing support of music in our schools and community.
